Barn Owl Original Acrylic " Misty Morning "

Framed Size  9" x 21", with non reflective glass.  Barn Owl.......What a stunning discovery so early in the day, so peaceful too.  SOLD at the Suffolk Show.  The print run for this scene is almost exhausted, there is one left!

The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.    

Nocturnal birds like the Barn Owl are poorly monitored by the Breeding Bird Survey and, subject to this caveat, numbers may have increased between 1995-2008.  Barn Owls are a Schedule 1 and 9 species.  Read more.....RSPB Barn Owl
