Barn Owl Original Acrylic " Hunting Ghost "

Framed Size 18" x 12", with non reflective glass.   This particular Barn Owl was a commission by someone I met at the Hadleigh Show a few years ago.  He commissioned this painting and has now bought a Little Owl and a Tawny Owl, so he is building up his collection!  These will shortly be flying off to Australia to live.  

The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.

The Barn Owl is the most widely distributed species of owl and one of the most widespread of all birds. It is also referred to as the common barn owl, to distinguish it from other species in its family.  Read more.....RSPB Barn Owl
