Wren Original Original " Ivy "

Framed Size 12" x 12", with non reflective glass.   John and I have recently expanded our bird feeders at home and are delighted to have attracted a wide variety of new arrivals.  One is the wren!   SOLD at Birdfair 2019.

Wrens can be found across the UK in a wide range of habitats - woodland, farmland, heathland, moorland and islands. Most are found in deciduous woodland but it is least abundant in Scotland and northern England, with the smallest numbers found in upland areas. The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
