Framed size 18" x 12", with non reflective glass.  I  make no apologies for another Waxwings.  I have chosen the collective name for Waxwings as the title, it was rather unusual and I simply loved it!  SOLD at Brett Gallery, Monks Leigh.  This painting has also out of its limited edition 25 print run.

The waxwing is a plump bird, which is slightly smaller than a starling with a prominent crest.  It is reddish-brown with a black throat, small black masking round its eye, yellow and white in the wings and a yellow-tipped tail. ......Read more.....RSPB Waxwing

The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself. SOLD at Eyebrook Gallery, Uppingham.
