Framed Size 9" x 21", with non reflective glass. I just love them! In the middle of the pandemic, painting these chirpy little birds has cheered me up no end. I was pleased to hear it described as an uplifting picture, exactly what I set out to create. SOLD privately.
House sparrows can be found from the centre of cities to the farmland of the countryside, they feed and breed near to people. It is a species vanishing from the centre of many cities, but is not uncommon in most towns and villages. Read more.....RSPB House Sparrow
The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting. The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
