Tree Sparrows Acrylic Original " After the Rain "

Two Tree Sparrows sheltering afters the rain stops, droplets still seen on leaves., framed size 18" x 12" with non reflective glass. The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself. 

The UK tree sparrow population has suffered a severe decline. However, recent Breeding Bird Survey data is encouraging, suggesting that numbers may have started to increase, albeit from a very low point.  Shyer than house sparrows in the UK, they are rarely associated with people. SOLD to a Collector.
