Framed Size 18" x 24", in non reflective glass. This bird painting was commissioned by one of my collectors, he first found my work at Brett Gallery, Monks Eleigh, Suffolk. It was so exciting to hear that my display wall was suddenly almost empty!
The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting. The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
Made famous by Harry Potter, this Hedwig-lookalike decided to stop off at two RSPB reserves, Titchwell Marsh and Snettisham over the weekend giving birders around the country cause to get in their cars and head to Norfolk. Read more.....RSPB Snowy Owl
