Framed size 21" x 8.75", with non reflective glass.   I really love painting kingfishers and this old rusty hook is a perfect perch." It was the rainbow gave thee birth, and left thee all her lovely hues "(William Henry Davis: The Kingfisher ).  SOLD at St Mary' Church, Stoke by Nayland Art Exhibition.  This was an unusual take on the ever popular Kingfisher.  Other suggestions would be more than welcome.

The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
