Wheatear Original Acrylic " Wheatear Reflection "

Framed size  10" x 24", with non reflective glass.  The Wheatear is a summer visiting bird, breeding mainly in western and northern Britain as well as western Ireland.  Small numbers have been known to breed in southern and eastern England.  SOLD at Dedham Art and Craft Centre.

The Wheatear is a small mainly ground-dwelling bird. It hops or runs on the ground. The male is blue-grey above, with black wings and white below with an orange flush to the breast. The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
