The Sedge Warbler is a small, quite plump, warbler with a striking broad creamy stripe above its eye and greyish brown legs.  Read more.....RSPB Sedge Warbler.  Our welcome wren again and finally the White Throat, with a rare appearance for me.  This bird is a medium-sized warbler, about the size of a great tit. The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
